Join us in celebrating National Bike Month this May!
We have a full calendar of events throughout May, including group rides, family-friendly activities, and e-bike test rides. And we need your help to make it all happen! Fill out our volunteer signup form to help out. Local businesses can also sign up for our Business Challenge to promote employee health, reduce environmental impact, and win cool prizes!

Bike your commute
Biking is a great way to get to the office or the grocery store. This year, National Bike to Work Week falls on May 13-17. And our Business Challenge runs all month: log your bike trips using the Connecting VA app for rewards, discounts, and drawings.

Bike to school
May 8th is National Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day! Join us in biking or walking to school, as well as group rides and e-bike demonstrations at our local schools.

Try something new
Join us to test-ride an e-bike, cargo bike, or bike trailer. We’ll be organizing bike demo events throughout the month.
Charlottesville Bike Month is a joint effort of local government staff, nonprofits, and volunteer organizations.
